Wesley Chinese program not only provides students with communication-focused classroom experiences, but also engage them through Chinese field trips, cultural performances, assemblies and community-wide cultural events throughout the school year.
Every year, Wesley students participate in Emory University and Atlanta Chinese Culture Center for Chinese culture sessions. In addition, students are given various opportunities to participate in effective student-centered and real-life field trips, such as scavenger hunt in a Chinese supermarket and experience authentic Chinese dishes. The goal is to develop student's communicative competence through task-based activities prioritizing cooperative learning and life relevance.
